I was sitting by a campfire next to a river (with possibly a few beers on board) in the summer of 2018 when a close friend asked me a personal question. It may have been the beer, or the stars, or the river running in the background, but I opened up emotionally in a way that I had been previously unable to do, and haven’t shut up about my feelings ever since. I have found writing to be an immensely cathartic creative outlet for expressing said feelings, and typing out my musings to be something that I truly enjoy. As mentioned, I started this blog a few years back as a way to share my travel nurse adventures with friends and family. It has grown into a space where I occasionally write about whatever has been on my mind. My wish for you is that you may have whatever kind of creative outlet suits your needs for self-expression. It’s a short but full life; don’t keep it bottled up.
